Invested and set up by the state in 1970, Changzhou F.R.P shipyard is the subsidiary of the China Aviation Changzhou Lanxiang machinery factory and is the juridical person,it is the largest,strongest and earliest one in F.R.P boat field. It engages in patrol boat,traffic boat, pleasure boat,working boat,fishing boat and large F.R.P products.Now it is a member of a council of Ship Industry Association of China and also si a member of F.R.P Industry Association of China.

　　In 1979 the successful designing and manufacturing closed and fire-proof F.R.P lifeboat supplied a domestic gap and won the Third Prize of National Technology Achievement. In 1980s it joined with the Road Instiurte of Ministry of Traffic to build the fisrst F.R.P road bridge with 21 meters span and 80 tones carrying capacity.The high speed,jet propelling patrol boat type 982 won the prize of National Science Meeting and the National Silver Medal.The new type altiplano patrol boat which was designed in the latest made a world record of sailing in high elevation with high speed. The totally enclosed 6.5 meters fire-proof lifeboat and 458 type working boat won the prize of Excellent and New type Product of Jiangsu province.The type 928 frontier patrol boat was considered as famous national defiense product by jiangsu provincial government. The lifeboat got the "CCS" certificate.The pleasure boat's quality was considered well by national ship inspection department.It had awarded the certficates of ISO9001 quality system (2000 version),it is one of the preferred enterprises of governmental purchase.

　　The factory is unique in manufacturing F.R.P frontier patrol boat which is assigned by General Headquarters of Equipment of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and also manufactures type 982 WJ patrol boat, type 982 patrol boats and type 630 motor boat which are assigned by Chinese People's Armed Plolice Forces and Public Security Ministry. The factory has designed many other high technology products for army and is the important base of producing speed boat for preventing flood,In 1998 the compary provides 200 pieces to national and local flood preventing headquarters to combat with the biggest flood,so the enterprise get a high recognition from them for its great dedication.

　　It has invest 60 million RMB to establish a modern factory in the Europe industry district which located in Changzhou Xinbei Borough ,the total area is 80700 square meter, the biggest boat which can be produced is 30 meters.
